Cape Town: Work, Wine and Bieber Fever

Recently my life has been affected by all of the above.

Last week I moved back to the Sea Point area to start work at Afrique du Sud backpackers.

My role is essentially as a receptionist.  Having had four weeks off this was a bit of a shock to the system but they started me off gently which was good and also meant I had plenty of time for other important activities like…WINE!

South Africa is famous for it’s wines so it only seemed right to take a trip to a wine estate while here.  Vredenheim is a beautiful farm near Stellenbosch which not only has a vineyard but a big cat park too.  What?!

We got to sample five wines and the one below went down particularly well.

In other news Justin Bieber came to Cape Town which not only caused Bieber Fever but road closures and all sorts of chaos around the city; let’s hope he doesn’t come back anytime soon.
