Malawi: 17 days later

17 days after leaving Cape Town we have finally arrived at Nkhata bay on Lake Malawi!

The rest of our journey from Lusaka involved more hot bus journeys, some interesting characters and another break down but all in all it went smoothly and we arrived according to schedule.

This lodge is going to be where we do our next work exchange which is pretty exciting.

The weather is sticky and the insects are huge but the friendliness of the people and the beauty of the place make up for that.

For now we are busy meeting the staff at our new lodge and getting settled in so more to come soon 😉
